Nicole joined McGillivary Steele Elkin LLP in October 2017, and serves as Assistant Legal Counsel for the International Association of Fire Fighters. She handles a variety of matters on behalf of thousands of union members across the United States and Canada and provides general legal advice on labor relations and employment issues.
Nicole graduated from Cornell Law School in 2017, where she successfully represented local union and migrant workers in wrongful termination cases as a student attorney in the Labor Law and Farmworker Legal Assistance clinics. She was also an Acquisitions Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy, and a 2017 recipient of the Freeman Award for Civil-Human Rights.
Prior to law school, Nicole worked for a nonprofit organization in the Mid-Atlantic region, providing educational support and resources to at-risk youth. She focused on inequality and social justice issues while studying sociology at Penn State University and the University of Delaware.
