Sophia Serrao joined McGillivary Steele Elkin LLP in January 2022 with the aim of providing workers and unions with greater access to legal representation. She represents unions and employees and provides general legal advice in both English and Spanish.

Sophia graduated in 2021 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law where she was the President of the UF Chapter of the American Constitution Society. Prior to joining the firm, Sophia was a legal intern for various nonprofit organizations with focuses ranging from immigration, worker’s rights, women and family centered policy, to general civil impact litigation. Sophia’s varied internships and own life experiences help her to thoughtfully advocate for workers and unions.

Sophia also holds a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from the University of Florida.
