Quentin Baca, et al., v. The United States (NATCA – Government Shutdown Case)
This case is on behalf of air traffic controllers who were required to continue working through the weeks of the Dec. 2018-Jan. 2019 government shutdown without pay or the ability to accrue time off. They allege that the Government failed to timely provide wages to ATCs owed for work performed in the days leading up to the shutdown when the FAA was still funded, as well as for work performed during the shutdown.

Perry v. The City of New York (New York Paramedics/Fire Inspectors)
A federal jury returned a unanimous verdict and the Court entered a judgment of $17,780,063.00 for 2,519 EMTs and Paramedics employed by the City of New York, finding that the City suffered or permitted them to work before and after their shifts without pay required by law, and that the City’s failure to do so was done in reckless disregard of the law.

NBPC AGENT PRE-SHIFT FLSA Overtime Case (Abad)
Border patrol agents employed by Customs and Border Protection, Department of Homeland Security filed this suit for the alleged failure to be paid overtime for uncompensated pre- and post-shift work activities as well as at home. They also alleged they were incorrectly paid, and sometimes were not paid at all, for administratively uncontrollable overtime and for mandatory firearm cleaning and maintenance.
