On or around January 22, 2023, Carter Mario Law Firm (“Carter Mario”) became aware of certain unauthorized activity within its computer systems and began investigating.

On or around January 22, 2023, Carter Mario Law Firm (“Carter Mario”) became aware of certain unauthorized activity within its computer systems and began investigating. Carter Mario finished its investigation on July 20, 2023, and determined that individuals personal information may have been compromised, including:

  • First and last name
  • Driver’s License Number or Non-Driver Identification Card Number

Carter Mario notified the individuals whose personal information was compromised on August 15, 2023. If you’ve received notice from Carter Mario that your personal information was compromised, consider doing certain things to protect your personal information:

  • Change your passwords and security information for online accounts;
  • Review your account statements for unauthorized activity;
  • Monitor your credit reports for signs of identity theft;
  • Contact the credit bureaus to request a temporary fraud alert;
  • Carefully review the notice you received from Carter Mario;
  • Keep a copy of the notice for your records; and
  • Enroll in the credit monitoring and identity protection services offered in the notice from Carter Mario.
