A lawsuit filed by Tulsa Fire Department firefighters to recover unpaid overtime is expected to grow further this week.

MSE Partner, Sara Faulman, who is representing the union, said, “We estimate that there are nearly 600 Fire Fighters that have been improperly paid. Although the initial filing was limited to ten individuals, we intend to file additional consent forms for hundreds of additional plaintiffs this week.” When asked about why the overtime has gone unpaid Partner Faulman said, “I do not know why the City has allowed this unlawful practice to continue for so long and, frankly, there is no justification for denying workers the pay they are owed.”
