Four years before he was elected President, Abraham Lincoln reminded the Illinois Republican State Convention that “The ballot is stronger than the bullet.” Voting is central to the democratic process, and MSE attorneys are working hard to ensure that all voters are heard.
MSE partner Sara Faulman has been working diligently in the days leading to the election, encouraging voters in Michigan and Texas to make a plan to vote.
On election day, MSE partner Diana Nobile will be stationed as an outside poll observer in Pennsylvania, making sure the polls open on time, reporting any voter intimidation or electioneering, and making sure that the polls stay open until everyone in line at closing has voted. Matthew Purushotham will be doing the same in Virginia.
MSE attorney John Stewart will be manning the National Voter Assistance Hotline, where voters can seek assistance about exercising their right to vote. If you want to know what’s on the ballot in your state, or need to make a plan to vote, visit https://votesaveamerica.com/plan/.
As President Dwight D. Eisenhower said, “The future of this republic is in the hands of the American voter.” MSE’s attorneys are doing their part to protect the future of the republic as we help voters get to the polls.
