On February 15, 2024, MSE Managing Partner Greg McGillivary moderated a wide-ranging discussion of developments at the U.S. Department of Labor, including the status of the DOL’s rulemaking and guidance on independent contractors and overtime as well as the Department’s initiatives related to child labor and the PUMP Act, with Solicitor of Labor Seema Nanda. The conversation was part of the American Bar Association’s Section of Labor and Employment Law’s Federal Labor Standards Legislation Committee’s midwinter meeting. MSE partner Dave Ricksecker is FLSL’s Union & Employee Co-Chair, and MSE partners Molly Elkin, Sara Faulman, Diana Nobile, and Reid Coploff are active Committee members.
